Summary Paragraph(s)
In this district, there is definitely a gap between the achievement on standardized tests in the state and those in the district. Since the ISAT, which is the Illinois Standard Achievement Test, is only given up to those people in eighth grade, it is hard to judge the achievement of students in high school throughout the state compared with those in my district. Since I am mainly looking at the elementary school level it will be easier to compare the achievement.

When looking at the percentage of students that scored at or above standard on the ISAT, we can that a larger percentage scored at or above the standard on the math portion of the test compared to the reading part of the test. Overall, the percentage of those students that scored at or above the standard on the ISAT is much lower in the district than those in the state.
